Chocolate Chip Cookie Snack Cake


  • 1/2 cup butter (softened)
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk (2% or higher)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3 cups all purpose flour  
  • 1/2 teaspoon soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts walnuts or pecans
  • 3/4 cup white chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate frosting
  • Extra chocolate chips and chopped nuts for decorating the top if desired


  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • In a medium size bowl, mix together the butter, sugar and eggs.
  • Stir in the milk and vanilla. Add the flour, baking soda and salt. Mix well.
  • Then fold in the nuts and chocolate chips.
  • Spray an 8×8 pan with cooking spray.
  • Pour the batter into the pan and bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes, until the center is set or a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. *If the cake starts to get to brown on top, place a piece of foil over it for the last 15-20 minutes of baking.
  • Allow the cake to cool and then frost the top with chocolate frosting. Sprinkle nuts and chocolate chips on the top, if desired.
  • Store in an airtight container.
